"Pisar Malvinas"
In tours that are taken together with several "players", with a virtual reality helmet (in the Oculus system, the latest generation in these technologies), "Pisar Malvinas" experience is unique for several reasons, including technical ones. The degree of "reality" of the landscapes you walk through is very high, and it is also possible to manipulate objects, pass them to another player, place them in different places. This is possible through the use of a novel hand tracking system.
Thus the players go through different "levels", guided by the voice of the actress Malena Solda. War appears only as an allusion in the objects. The emphasis, on the other hand, is placed on the tour of a place whose own, Argentine condition is perceived in every detail, starting with the continuity of the Patagonian landscape. Thus, the idea of symbolically stepping on the Malvinas is to "plant sovereign desire."
In this project I worked as a 3D generalist, in Maya and Unreal engine.
